There was a swimming competition held in Northolt leisure centre. Some year 5 children were selected to represent our school. The day before the event, we decided what type race each of us would do. There was backstroke, freestyle, front crawl and butterfly to choose from, not to mention some relay races. Before the races, we all warmed up and swam in the water. Even though we didn’t win, we had an amazing time and tried our best. It was a wonderful experience.
