As we come to the end of the academic year, we get ever closer to one of the most exciting events of the year - the summer fair! Next Friday, we will be having our summer fair which will take place after school from 3.45pm. The children will be allowed to wear their own clothes to school all day, in exchange for a £2 donation or an item for the tombola. Please ensure that your child is wearing sensible footwear for the entire day. The tombola stall is one of the busiest at the summer fair, and it will only be possible with your generous donations on mufti day.
On Tuesday, Vicar's Green sounded more like it was located in Paris, rather than in Alperton. The children across the school celebrated our French day, by dressing up in the colours of countries that speak French. They also got to learn words in French such as colours, numbers and foods. We had parents come in and read stories in French and sing songs. The highlight for all of the children and staff was most definitely the French cafe. This was a fun and engaging experiences where the children got to taste French food and practice using their newly learnt vocabulary. I would like to say a massive thank you to Mrs Shah for her planning and preparation, and for all of the parents that helped throughout the day at the cafe.
