Message from the Headteacher
As we get closer to the end of the year, it is a time to reflect on the learning and achievements that the children at Vicar's Green have accomplished over the year.
On Monday, you will receive your child's end of year report. Included in this will be their progress over the whole of the curriculum from across the year. If your child has received any interventions during this time, they will also be listed to show what has been put into place to support your child. You will also be notified of any government statutory assessments, and you will find out who your new class teacher is for the next academic year.
We also invite our parents to attend our STEM exhibition in the Willow Hall on Thursday 18th July, which will take place from 3.40pm to 4.30pm. This year we have really embraced the importance of STEM in our curriculum, with our special days and visits from parents and businesses across the school. At this exhibition, you will get to see the brilliant learning that has taken place with close links to STEM. I would like to thank Mrs Hughes, who is our Science Leader, for organising this event.
During this time, you will also be able to ask your current teacher any questions related to your child's report, and you will have the opportunity to meet and introduce yourself to your new class teacher.
I look forward to seeing as many parents as we can at our Summer Fair tomorrow.
Warm regards Iman Basu Roy
