Why did you decide to become a Governor at Vicar’s Green Primary School?
I had completely 37 years as a Foundation Governor, within the Catholic Education Service and I saw it as opportunity to share my knowledge and experience. In addition, it was a local school with a good profile.
What do you think that Governors can bring to Vicar’s Green Primary School?
I believe that the Governors, with their range of skills and experience, can make a significant contribution to the school Governance and its management in particular.

Brief history of your career, life and background:
A professional whose expertise is exceptional in the healthcare sector; he has experience at Board level in the NHS and the Voluntary Sector. The Provision of informatics and commissioning of health and social care services at all Care Levels. He has a very good understanding of the development of new primary care organisations – CCGs, their strategic roles in local health economies and the critical role of informatics, in understanding variations in healthcare and the digital health agenda. He is currently researching the case for transformative innovation in healthcare, centred on, technology, business model, market adoption strategy and policy.
It is his ability to combine high-level strategic view with operational requirements that has enabled him to succeed in many diverse projects. He is organised; self-motivated; and confident with a pleasant personality. He has excellent facilitation and communications skills.
In depth understanding of Health Intelligence, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Programme and Project management, commissioning and contractual issues, with proven success in data warehousing solutions and contracting analysis and modelling.
